Biohazard

Biohazard is the shortened term for biological hazard. It refers to biological substances that are harmful to the health of humans and other living organisms. Biohazardous substances include viruses or toxins that can have an adverse effect human and environmental health. Companies and organizations are required, under Proposition 65, to properly and clearly label containers with biohazardous substances with the biohazard symbol.
