Acceptable intake (for subchronic and chronic exposure)

Acceptable intake refers to the numbers which indicate the toxicity of a certain chemical. The numbers are derived between the relationship of dose and non-cancer effects. Acceptable exposure values are classified as two types: acute exposure (relatively short-term) and chronic exposure (longer-term).
