Along with our loyal customers, we are thankful for the wonderful individuals who work at ACT Environmental Services. As an example, Danny Carpentier of our Santa Fe Springs, CA branch had this to say about a new teammate: “I’d like to thank Lillian McCormick, the Los Angeles office’s new Technical Sales Support. Lillian has been with ACT for only a couple of months and has already done a fantastic job at learning our systems. She is very quick to respond to requests, and her customer service capabilities are excellent. ACT is very lucky to have her on the team.” Or take this, for instance: Jeff Smith at our Albuquerque TSD got an email from a motorcyclist who received assistance from several members of our team after he happened to crash not far from the front of our facility. When Jeff passed along the note, he made sure to point out that the credit went to his fellow employees Ray Ortega, Bill Littleton and Mark Kirkland, along with two long-term temps, Robert Peralta and Skky Nieto. All of them went down initially to help the injured rider, with Ray and Bill staying until the ambulance arrived. Here are the rider’s own words: I am the motorcyclist involved in the accident out in front of your business location on Friday afternoon about 3 PM, Friday October 9th. I would appreciate it if you could find a way, within your organization, to express my appreciation to all the good people who came to my aid and helped me in my hour of need. Since I was sort of "out of it," I wouldn't have remembered any of your names or faces but I can never forget the sheer quantity of care and comfort which I received at your hands. It is very humbling to realize that I was at the mercy of the charity of strangers and that all of them involved not only rose to the occasion but stepped up and went beyond the call. Thank you all, each and every one. Happy Thanksgiving!
