ACTenviro’s Driver of the Quarter for the 4th Quarter of 2016: John Ratley

ACTenviro’s Driver for 4th Quarter of 2016 We are pleased to announce Merced-based John Ratley as our latest Driver of the Quarter! John is a genuinely caring person, and it shows in everything he does. He always greets people with a big smile and a warm (and usually funny!) greeting. No matter what assignment John receives, he always finds the safest and best way to accomplish it. Not only does John look out for his own safety, he is always conscious of the safety of everyone around him. And he is always quick to volunteer when others need help. ACTenviro’s customers love John because, in addition to being personable, he is very professional. He brings a wealth of knowledge and skills that perfectly fit the needs of our branch in California’s Central Valley. In addition to being a highly skilled and safe Class A Driver, John is able to operate every piece of equipment at the facility. He has a strong construction background and brings mechanical and welding/fabrication skills to the table as well. When John is able to take time away from work, he enjoys goldmining. Mind you, he is not your average recreational goldminer; he has been at it for over 25 years now and at one point did it full-time for almost three years. He has made substantial investments in top-of-the-line equipment and supplies to make the most of his efforts. In addition to actually goldmining, he is also an active member of the AMRA (American Mining Rights Association), helping to ensure the continued protection of everyone’s rights to public lands. Please join us in congratulating John!
