On June 29th, ACT’s Merced branch provided Emergency Response services to clean up a spill in Vallejo, CA. A tanker transporting product had unknowingly leaked chemicals from a valve for roughly four miles in Vallejo and two miles in the city of Bay Point. So much material had been spilled, and over such a great distance, that it required two days to clean it all.
ACT immediately mobilized 8 techs, 2 tankers, 2 pressure washers, a street sweeper and 2 gear trucks to handle the job.
